Two Great Action Quotes

To the best of my knowledge, I have never read a book written by Stephen King. His books just aren’t what I am interested in. However, here is a quote of his that I think is fantastic. He said, “Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.”

Isn’t that incredible?! So many of us, myself included, have thought that we don’t have a shot at bigger things because we aren’t talented like other people who have been successful.  According to Stephen King, it’s not about talent, it’s about working hard. I hope that is an encouragement to you. It is to me!

Another quote to help get you motivated comes from Louis Pasteur. He said that “Chance favors the Prepared Mind!”  I don’t believe in chance, but Mr. Pasteur’s advice is still true. Good things happen when we are prepared. If you are encouraged and excited to try something new and different, start preparing and taking action. Try your business idea. Start writing that book. Start a blog or start building your invention. Again the key is in preparation and hard work and not in “luck” or extraordinary talent. It is a Biblical principle that hard work will bring a reward, and that we are expected to work if we hope to gain a profit.

What are you going to start today? If you have an idea it makes a lot of sense to get started on it right away. Reply in the comments section and let me know what you have in mind. I would love to encourage you!
