Are you a Doer or a Thinker?

Doers do things. Smart people think about things.” This is a recent quote from Andy Stanley when he spoke at the May 9th, 2014 LeaderCast Event. He went on to say that great leaders need to hire people that are “predisposed to doing”. These are folks that have experience. These are people that have tried and failed and then tried again. A doer has a list of accomplishments and probably a list of failures. They can talk about what they have done, not just about the degrees that they have earned. Are you a Doer or a Thinker?

Regardless of your age, you can be a doer. I listened to a podcast yesterday of a 10 year old girl that has her own podcast show called Entrepreneur Kids Academy. This experience has incredible value! Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “An ounce of Action is worth a ton of Theory!” So what is holding you back at your age?

Take some action today. Stop researching. Stop pursuing the next degree. Be a Doer not a Thinker!
