Desperate Enough to Take Action

In the last few months I have had conversations with several people that have a dream. For some the dream still lights up their face and gets them excited. For others the dream has faded a bit, and may feel out of reach. So many people that I meet seem to be very responsible with their work and their career, but not as many seem to be excited or passionate about what they are doing. Henry David Thoreau said, “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.” The thought of people moving through life and not taking on that dream has moved me to take action on a dream of my own. This blog is a step in that process. The potential for people to achieve their dreams is improved when they get a little nudge. Norman Vincent Peale said, “People become really quite remarkable when they start thinking they can do things. When they believe in themselves, they have the first secret of success.” I want to nudge people in the direction of believing that they can accomplish big things, and I want to help provide the tools to make it happen.

  • I encourage you to pursue your passion for introducing people to the fulfillment of their dream. These days, dreamers that actually follow through are at a premium, me being one of them! Allowing a dream to age will cause it to tarnish prematurely which diminishes it’s beauty over time. Those that help the fledgling dreamer out of “quiet desperation” are needed. Godspeed!! ~~Patrick
